How the Dogs are Raised
I am proud to say that all my puppies start their lives in the house and are born in my big walk-in shower in my master bath. I attend their births (note the little reclining rocker so I can snooze through the night if needed.) If my eyes are not on them, my ears are, so they are monitored 24 hours a day. As they get older, they get time to play both in the house and outside. |

Once the puppies are old enough, they are transitioned to the puppy nursery, which is attached to my house. This consists of 4 pens that are 8' wide by 10' long so the puppies have plenty of room to play. I also have a seating area set up with radio and TV so that the puppies get used to the sounds they will hear in your home, as well as space to run and play. They also have play time in the house as well.

As they grow, the puppies get plenty of time to run and play outdoors. They learn about the grass beneath their feet, the warmth of the sun, the fun of "splatting" through mud puddles or the exhilaration of snow spraying up as they play in the winter. They also get house time so that they learn what it feels like to walk on slippery floors or to hear the washing machine run. My puppies are not just "kennel babies!"

The junior puppy play pen, so they can run and play but not get to the road. Sorry about the sound quality.

Cinder opening the door. Wish I had door knobs instead of lever handles! Blaze and the cat can also open the door.
